Title: Message 'Unable to start FLEETMATE software'
appears
Symptom:
When you start FLEETMATE, a dialog appears reporting that FLEETMATE
cannot be started. The message may also instruct you to contact us for
assistance. An error number may be displayed in the titlebar of the dialog.
Cause:
Your FLEETMATE installation is non-standard, and/or user permissions set for
your Windows user account is not allowing FLEETMATE to start in the normal
fashion.
Solution:
Follow the steps below to modify the Target
shortcut setting for FLEETMATE:

Right-click the
FLEETMATE shortcut on your Windows desktop

Click the Properties
option

Change the Target
setting
from: "C:\Program Files\FLEETMATE\FLEETMATE.exe"
to: "C:\Program Files\FLEETMATE\fm32.exe"
