Change the VIN on an Asset Record
Background:
Once a vehicle record is entered in your database, the VIN field is
protected to prevent unintentional changes.
Solution:
To edit a VIN value for a vehicle, double-click the vehicle to open the
Vehicle window. Using your mouse, click on the "VIN:"
field label (not the field). This will enable the field so that the VIN value
can be modified. Make your changes and click OK.
