Change the VIN on an Asset Record
Background:
Once a vehicle record is entered in your database, the VIN/SN field is
protected to prevent unintentional changes.
Process:
To edit a VIN/SN value for a
vehicle...

Double-click the vehicle to open the
Vehicle window.

Click
the lock graphic near the VIN/SN:
field.

Make your changes
to the VIN.

Click OK.
